You see, Jesus didn’t just die to redeem people. He died to also redeem businesses, cities, states, and even nations. In Luke 19:10, Jesus defined His purpose saying “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Jesus chose the word “that” instead of “those.” The three basic things lost in the Fall in the Garden of Eden and redeemed when Jesus rose from the dead include 1) Man’s vertical relationship with God, 2) Man’s horizontal relationship with other people, and 3) The marketplace (ground) was cursed.

The greatest asset of any organization or community is the people. By empowering leaders, businesses and organizations can be transformed. By empowering businesses and organizations, communities can be transformed communities. When enough communities are transformed, nations can be transformed.

Pastor Rick Warren says the purpose of the Bible is to change lives and the purpose of preaching is to change lives. I believe that’s also the purpose of every Kingdom-minded business. Our purpose is “Changing Lives To Disciple Nations.”

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

OK, I’ve written the vision down. Now it’s up to you to decide if you will believe it and then run with it.

Prayer Power
Heavenly Father, as I develop more interest in LIFE coaching, I realize that You have mentors and things we need all around us. Forgive me for the many, many times that I have been so focused on my agenda that I have missed Your assistance and Your agenda. Help me to be prepared and not be in a hurry so that when opportunity knocks, I’ll be ready for it. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
