After 49 years of life, I can say unequivocally that the best $1,000 I ever spent was my fee to take the Accelerated Coach Training (ACT) course by Lifeforming Leadership Coaching. I’ve experienced such a new level of authenticity and depth in conversations and relationships that I could never be satisfied with the way things used to be.

Scott Wozniac, my coach trainer for the ACT course, was amazing at facilitating transformational conversations. I’ve discovered the power of listening intentionally, asking powerful questions, and allowing God to initiate the changes in other people. I realize that for much of my adult life, I’ve been spinning my wheels by being a teller and advice giver rather than an effective coach.

What is some evidence that this coach training actually works?

1) My recent vacation at Lake Tahoe with my wife

2) More order in my home: As yesterday’s devotional shares, I completely cleared the 12 foot desk in my home office.

3) I began a formal coaching arrangement with my 20 year old son and he is now working to attain goals that are important to him.

He told me my sermon titled “Pray” had a big impact on the church congregation. He invited me to be an elder (overseer) for Soul Purpose Church.

5) Michael Stay, a good friend and one of the best strategic planners in the world, asked for my help in redoing his website and with Internet marketing. The door is now open for us to work together to empower Kingdom-minded businesses and ministries around the world through the web.

6) In the past few months, several of my web clients began making “prestige referrals.”

Based on personal experience, I can tell you with the utmost confidence that Christian coaching is notches above secular coaching in terms of sustained impact and transformation because of its core values.

What is lifeforming leadership coaching?

On January 27, 2007, Joseph Umidi came to Culpeper to lead the Real Talk Training (RTT) seminar. We were disappointed that only nine people showed up. It was our hope that we would be able to round up at least 20 people from the Culpeper area to take a 15 week Accelerated Coach Training (ACT) course together in Culpeper, starting in late February. That never came to pass.

I was also disappointed that I had missed the ACT course that started in late January while waiting for one to start in Culpeper. But God’s timing is always perfect and His plans are always better than our plans.

Yesterday I took a major step forward in my leadership development by attending Session #1 (a workshop) in Norfolk Virginia of a 15 week ACT course. Joseph Umidi stopped in briefly, making me feel very welcome. Since I first met him in late August 2006, Joseph has had a profound impact on my life. I am so thankful that he chose to stay connected to me through these devotionals.

Scott Wozniak facilitated yesterday’s 8 hour workshop and will be leading the next 15 weeks of this ACT course. He is one of the top coach trainers for Lifeforming Leadership Coaching and is also its Director of Development. What a blessing! God is so good and always full of surprises.

Not only did Scott do an outstanding job leading the workshop, but we had two wonderful guests (certified coaches) join our group as guests for most of the day just to see Scott teach and lead. I learned that Scott was raised in a family where leadership coaching was normal. In the past seven years, both of Scott’s parents and three of his four siblings completed the year long leadership coach training offered by Lifeforming Leadership Coaching.

If you answered ‘No’ to any of the above questions then we invite you to attend a personal transformational coaching workshop on January 27, 2006 in Culpeper, VA to be conducted by Transformational Leadership Coaching, Inc. (TLCI). TLCI provides world-class coaching services and training experiences that accelerates personal, family, organizational, and community transformation.

Transformational coaching is a different kind of coaching. It is a conversational process with a coach that takes your own agenda and helps you achieve extraordinary results that matter to you. However, instead of just helping you achieve a goal, this coaching transforms you in the process of achieving the goal. You will undergo a transformation of your heart, mind and soul as you sharpen your life performance in a way that will catapult you to higher levels of success in 2007.

The upcoming local personal transformational coaching workshop, which will be taught by a TLCI certified coach, will be held on January 27, 2006, from 8:30AM to 3:30PM, at Nikko’s (next to the Best Western – formerly Holiday Inn). The workshop fee is $50.00.

For those who enjoy the one day workshop and want to obtain further, more comprehensive transformational coaching training to maximize your personal effectiveness, and want to be able to coach others, then you may continue with a 15 week, comprehensive Accelerated Coaching Training (ACT) program.

This ACT program, which will also be taught by TLCI certified coaches, includes a powerful curriculum of materials, 142.5 coach/coach trainer hours of input and one on one coaching. The total time of the training program is approximately 15 weeks and requires a weekly input of 2.5 to 3.25 hours by each participant.

The total fee for the ACT is $995. However, for those that complete the January 27th workshop, TCLI will credit your $50 workshop fee towards the ACT fee, thus lowering the ACT fee to $945. This reduced ACT fee covers the costs of an additional 8-9 weeks of weekly telephone classes and assignments with a certified coach trainer from our organization, followed by a second workshop day and subsequently 6-7 weeks of phase II telephone classes. Coaching utilizes great techniques to allow you to discover yourself and improve the quality of life you enjoy. You will be enabled and equipped with tools and given assistance in discovering your vision, goals and objectives in life. Eighty five percent of the program involves helping you bring out what is inside you so that you can discover your destiny in a more complete way. Fifteen percent of the program involves giving input with regard to your life goals.
